The restaurant La Table de Balthazar offers tasty cuisine in a refined and elegant setting. Inspired by the Rostang Père and Filles, a famous family of restaurateurs, the menu is played by Breton Chef Anthony Le Fur. The 2017 Michelin Guide has just awarded it a plate and two forks. A nice recognition!
Open to hotel guests as well as Rennes, La Table de Balthazar is the gourmet meeting place for lunch and dinner. In the morning, a buffet of fresh and home-cooked products makes the day start with gluttony. At lunchtime and in the evening, a market menu, changing according to arrivals, gives pride of place to local products, allowing the Breton chef to cook the full season.
The dishes are made from fresh seasonal products bought daily from local suppliers known for their know-how. “My goal at the Balthazar Table is to showcase our small producers by going to meet them in the market and talking to them about their work and their products. In three words, a locavore kitchen, simple and uncluttered. Explains the Chief.
